Sitting at the Feet of Our Elders

Sitting at the Feet of our Elders is an ongoing multimedia project of the Southern Energy Network launched in the Fall of 2008 to elevate the voices of elders who have been fighting for a clean energy future for many years. The project also aims to create a dialogue between youth and elders, create ongoing relationships between youth and elders, and better develop youth videographers skills.

What is EJS?
Accountable Community Work - Our political processes systematically disenfranchise many of the people who are most directly affected by the decisions made therein. Energy Justice Summer's community outreach projects are designed to empower and amplify the voices of those individuals who are directly affected by dirty energy industries.
