Anti-Oppression and Inclusivity Team
This team serves as a guiding force in an organization committed to inclusivity, diversity, and anti-oppression.  By joining this team your involvement will touch everything the organization does including: hiring practices, supervision and evaluation, identifying strong trainers for staff, and ensuring accountability. Your commitment to anti-oppression and inclusivity will help broaden the youth climate movement to reach a more diverse cross section of young people in the Southeast.  contact: sara [at] climateaction.net

High Risk Team
High risk energy choices including coal and nuclear power endanger our economy, health, security, water resources, and the environment. The Southeast is being bombarded with proposals for high risk energy, and is the region that has the highest number of nuclear plant proposals!   We are seeking to form a High Risk Energy Team that will work together in solidarity against these proposals. We will collaborate to do research, network with other organizations, plan and execute actions, and build larger networks of opposition. contact: mandy [at] climateaction.net

Communications Team
This team serves as the source for developing strategic communications strategy in the Southeast amongst youth leaders and student organizers. By joining the this team you can help expand youth led movement & momentum on campus, in your state and regionally.  You will learn media skills and use your skills to help train others and facilitate regional media work.  You'll get connected to media networks and regional organizations and media professionals.  contact: russ [at] climateaction.net

Resources and Training Team
Do you want access to resources on how other campuses and communities have stopped dirty energy facilities, created green job training opportunities, constructed wind turbines, funded energy efficiency programs and more?  Do you want to be trained on organizing skills or help train others?  Help determine needed resources and trainings, create needed resources and spread the word about these resources and opportunities.  contact: stephanie [at] climateaction.net

Outreach and Events Team
Come up with creative ways to get the word out about SEN.  We'll do everything from working on regional events and trainings, to promoting the network at festivals (like Bonnaroo!) and on tours with bands.  Weigh in on new material design and branding.  Also, help develop plans for expanding our online base.  This team will work closely with both the Resources and Training Team & the Communications Teams.  contact: reagan [at] climateaction.net
